Elegant, Minimal Bracelets for Every Budget11:06 PM
I'm usually not really into jewelry. If I had to determine what made me decide to shop for bracelets this evening, I would be at a loss. Well, it's likely because I just got a new one at the farmer's market a couple of weeks ago (you might have seen it on my Instagram) so now it's just in my blood or something.
That's the thing with shopping, I suppose. You start with a slight curiosity in something and it snowballs until you've spent 2 hours looking at pretty things you didn't even know you wanted while consuming Wheat Thins at a rate that would stun most competitive eaters. So here we are, at 10:45 pm on a Saturday night, shopping for bracelets. The trend that I picked up on right away was minimalism.
The mantra of 'less is more' speaks to me in the manner of simplicity, but I also noticed some of the simplest designs were the most expensive. I realize it's all in the materials, of course... but paying even over $30 for a bracelet isn't something that can happen for me unless I want my family to starve. Still, I'll be darned if these aren't some of the most artful, elegant, stylized pieces of wrist candy that I've seen in a while.
In the interest of covering all the bases, however, I figured I'd include some of the luxury stuff in this list of elegant and minimalist bracelets, for those who find themselves with so much of the green stuff you have no idea what to spend it on anymore. My favorite is the reasonably priced Alex and Ani on the bottom left. I know, no one asked.
